Milk & Honey Ciders is a premier cider brewery in St. Joseph, Minnesota. Milk & Honey produces the highest quality ciders with unique seasonal blends that let the apples shine. I have worked on freelance basis with Milk & Honey since 2014, producing the illustrations for a wide variety of their products and in-store collateral.

Milk & Honey Ciders is a premier cider brewery in St. Joseph, Minnesota. Milk & Honey produces the highest quality ciders with unique seasonal blends that let the apples shine. I have worked on freelance basis with Milk & Honey since 2014, producing the illustrations for a wide variety of delicious apple concoctions.
Seasonal Ciders
Chaga Chai and Blood Orange were two seasonal varieties produced by Milk & Honey in the summer of 2021. I created geometrically mirrored illustrations that captures the temperament of both unique ingredients. Chaga is a parasitic mushroom that grows on the side of Aspen trees and brings an earthy, vanilla flavor to the cider. I gave this label an arcane ambiance with the birch eyes of chaga infected aspens gazing out through a snowy night.
In contrast, the Blood orange eludes to seasonal change with the brightness of the sun glowing through a stained glass mosaic surrounding a subsection of blood orange.
In the late fall, Milk & Honey released Pommeau, which I illustrated a label for. Pommeau is a blend of apple brandy and fresh pressed juice aged for two years in barrels, a process artistically rendered on the label art.

Heirloom is the first label I ever created for Milk & Honey, and continues to be updated for new uses. This label mimics scientific diagrams with custom illustrations of 10 of the unique varieties of apples grown on the Milk & Honey orchards.
